Receiving my cashback
Upon receipt and verification of the cashback claim, Nikon will arrange for a direct BACS transfer payment into the Participant’s bank account. No alternative arrangement will be entered into.
BACS transfers will only be made to bank accounts held in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Transfers will be made in the currency of the country in which the bank account is held in; Pounds Sterling (GBP) for UK claimants and Euros (EUR) for Republic of Ireland claimants.
It is the responsibility of the claimant to ensure that the bank details provided are correct. Nikon are not responsible for payments where the details provided were incorrect. Payments cannot be reversed once processed.
Charity donation - Sightsavers
Each year Nikon UK staff choose an employee nominated charity to help raise money for. This year, Nikon UK staff have chosen to support Sightsavers.
Sightsavers is an international organisation that changes lives for the long term. They work in more than 30 countries to eliminate avoidable blindness and support people with visual impairments to live independently.
Nikon UK chose to support Sightsavers this year as the relationship between sight and photography is significant. So far this this year we have helped saved the sight of 267 people, in our 100th year it is Nikon’s aim is to help save the sight of as many as possible.
This is where we are asking for your help by donating some of your cashback to Sightsavers. You don’t need to do anything, just select how much you wish to donate.
A donation is voluntary, and however big or small, everything helps. Your donation could restore someone’s sight, prevent avoidable blindness or support someone who’s irreversibly blind to live independently. As an example, a £20 donation could pay for sight-saving trachoma operations.
As a thank you, if you donate the minimum value or more you will receive an exclusive 100th Anniversary Camera Strap. This special edition strap is made from leather with the Nikon and 100th Anniversary logo debossed onto it. This strap is only available through this promotion.
Info on non-EEA products
Nikon Cashback promotions are not available on Non EEA products.
As a trusted and respected brand it is important that Nikon customers can be confident their products will be supplied with valid EEA warranties, correct power cables, English manuals and that they will receive the quality of service and after sales support that Nikon is known for.
A number of retailers offer genuine Nikon product from outside the European market for sales to customers in the UK. Nikon UK cannot guarantee that these products will be supplied with a UK power cord and adaptor which meets our quality standard, or that the customer will receive an original English manual or a genuine European warranty card. Because these products are not intended by Nikon for the European market, they are not eligible for UK promotions, including our cash back offers.

Q. How will I receive my cashback payment?
A. Once all of the required documents are received and the claim has been verified, a BACS transfer will be made into the bank account of the person whose details have been provided on the claim form. Please allow up to 30 days from receipt of the application for the money to appear in the chosen bank account.
Q. What happens if I enter my bank details incorrectly?
A. The claimant is responsible for ensuring all details provided are correct.
Q. How can I get a claim form?
A. An online claim form is available from this site by following the link to ‘claim now’. If you are unable to access the online process please call +44(0)1420 525 606 for assistance registering your claim.
Q. What documents do I need to apply?
A. We require a copy of your receipt or invoice, the date of purchase must be clearly visible in order for us to validate your claim. We also require a photocopy of your Nikon Europe Service Warranty for all of the items ONCE you have fully completed the details requested. This document can be found in the box your products came in or may be printed on in the back page of your camera manual. The Service Warranty slip will either have the name Nikon UK Ltd or Nikon Europe BV already filled in. The final item required is either the confirmation of your online claim form or a fully completed claim form (where web access is unavailable).
Q. What is the maximum number of products I can claim for?
A. There is no limit to the number of products. However you can only claim for one of each camera or lens model.
Q. Can I make separate claims if I purchase two products from the promotion at different times?
A. All products you wish to claim cashback for must be bought in one transaction.
Q. What if I have a hand written receipt?
A. This is not a problem as long as you follow the application procedure and send in all the required documents as stated above.
Q. Can I purchase online or do I have to go to a store?
A. Online purchases are permitted however please check with your retailer that the stock you are receiving is valid for this promotion. You can check for a list of authorised dealers by visiting the ‘Where to Buy’ section of Nikon UK and Ireland’s websites at www.nikon.co.uk/wheretobuy. Please
Q. Do purchases from eBay, Amazon Marketplace or Dixons Travel Stores qualify for this promotion?
A. No. Only purchases from Amazon.co.uk directly are applicable for this promotion. Purchases made from 3rd party sellers on Amazon Marketplace are excluded from this promotion, whether fulfilled by Amazon or not. Purchases made from Dixons Travel stores are also excluded from this promotion.
Q. Why is it necessary to purchase “stock distributed by Nikon UK”?
A. This promotion is funded and wholly supported by Nikon UK & Ireland and as such we are not able to support cashback on products which have been purchased from “other” markets.
Q. How should I send in my documents?
A. Documents can either be sent in via post, or uploaded if you are following the online claim process. If you are sending by post we require a hard copy of your documents and the best method is to use a photocopier. We can also accept documents that have been scanned or photographed and then printed. Please do not send originals as we will not send them back. The alternative method is to supply a digital copy (scanned or photograph) of your documentation which you can upload with your claim. Please see the ‘Claim now’ page for more information on how to make your claim.
Q. I previously received my cashback via a Pre-paid card – has this changed?
A. Yes - the mechanism for receiving your cashback has now changed. Those claiming cashback will now be paid via BACS transfer. No alternative payments methods are available.
Q. Do I have to donate to the charity?
A. No. A donation to Sightsavers is voluntary.
Q. How is the donation taken?
A. The amount you wish to donate will be taken from your total cashback amount. Nikon UK will then send the total of all donations to Sightsavers.
Q. How do I receive the strap?
A. If you donate the minimum value, the exclusive 100th Anniversary camera strap will be sent via post to the address on your claim form.
Q. I would like to donate to the charity but do not wish to receive the strap.
A. Thank you for donating. There is an option to not receive the strap when you complete the form.
